The lively Liverpool culture is a microcosm reflecting contemporary attitudes related to drinking. Its people, nightlife, heritage and landmark buildings deliver my aim: to provoke challenging comment upon our consumer association with alcohol. Ceramics has long associations of tackling unattractive social issues. This body of work continues
the tradition, employing contemporary candid interpretations illustrated with explicit and sobering imagery.
